The Rho Chi Alumni Honor Roll is a chapter-based award that seeks to recognize lifetime Rho Chi members that have continued to support the mission and vision of Rho Chi after graduation. 

The Chapter Awards Program encourages alumni involvement in chapter activities. Chapters should continue efforts toward engaging alumni in activities of the Society and in recognizing their critical role in helping to fulfill our mission.

To that end, each chapter is encouraged to nominate one alumnus for the Alumni Honor Roll annually.  The nominee should have advanced the profession through intellectual leadership and the pursuit of excellence. Consistent with the Society’s goal of increasing national recognition for Rho Chi members, chapters are encouraged to identify nominees from all areas including academia, practice, industry, or other nonacademic tracks. NOTE: the member nominated does not need to be an alumnus of the nominating chapter.

The Alumni Honor Roll honorees are proudly announced at the National Convention. The Society will publish the names of honorees on its website, and they will receive a certificate from their nominating chapter.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES

• Nominations must be submitted no later than January 15.
• Each Chapter may nominate one member a year with the following information (no posthumous awards please):
  • First Name; Middle Name; Last Name; Email Address; Current Address; Rho Chi Chapter; Degree/s; Graduate of School/College; Year of Graduation; Current Position
  • One paragraph explaining how the nominee advanced the profession through intellectual leadership and the pursuit of excellence (limit 300 words).
  • Individuals may be recognized on the Honor Roll once in lifetime.
