2019 Annual Meeting – The Rho Chi Society’s 2019 Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, March 22-25, 2019. Details of the APhA Annual Meeting will be available on their website, www.pharmacist.com. As details are finalized for the Society’s Annual Meeting, they will be posted on the website and sent to chapter advisors and presidents. Please be sure to check your chapter’s attendance at the preceding annual meetings. Chapters not having a delegate in attendance for three consecutive years become inactive and cannot elect new members.
The Society’s Executive Council will meet in conjunction with the 2019 Annual Meeting of the American Pharmacists Association. Details will be posted on the website as they become available and sent to Council members.
The Rho Chi Society Annual Meeting – This meeting of the Society celebrates individual and chapter achievements for the year and is the only business meeting of the Society. Chapter Delegates, Alternates, Advisors, National Officers, members and guests are encouraged to attend. Each chapter should register their delegate and alternate via the website (www.rhochi.org) under Chapter Resources/Delegate Registration. Delegate information should be submitted to the National Office no later than March 1. Details regarding agenda and action items will be sent to chapter delegates after March 15.
Special Note: All Rho Chi members (and non-member students) are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting. You do not have to be a Chapter Delegate or Alternate Delegate to attend. Each Rho Chi chapter is expected to have an official delegate present for the Society’s Annual Meeting. Chapters not in attendance for three consecutive years are placed on probation and thus, in accord with National Bylaws, are not eligible to elect new members. A record of chapter attendance for each of the past three years is posted for review APHA-Attendance-2016-2018. Please check your chapter’s attendance to be sure you are in compliance with the National Bylaws requirement.
